- Heat half of the oil over medium-high heat in a skillet or pan. Once heated, add plantains being sure not to overcrowd. You may have to fry in batches depending on the size of your pan. Use the rest of the oil as needed..
- Transfer plantains to a paper towel to drain off excess oil..
