Today first time my recipe using Oats has come up, since I started blogging. The inspiration I got from my elder son Piyush, who wanted me to introduce this wonderful food in our diet.
Here is the best “Oats pulao” recipe we have found so far. This is gonna really delicious.
Ingredients of Oats pulao
- It’s 1 cup of oats.
- Prepare 1 of small onion chopped.
- You need 1 of tomato chopped.
- It’s 1/2 of carrot chopped.
- It’s 2 tbsp of cabbage chopped.
- You need 1 of green chilli.
- You need 1/2 of capsicum chopped.
- You need 4-5 of beans.
- Make ready 1/2 cup of Mushrooms (optional).
- You need 2 tbsp of green peas.
- It’s 1 tsp of oil /ghee.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of Black pepper powder.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of garlic chopped.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of ginger chopped.
- Take Pinch of turmeric powder.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1/4 tsp of garam masala.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of mustard seed.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin seed.
- It’s of Coriander leaves for garnish.

Oats pulao step by step
- Heat the oil /ghee in a kadai add cumin,mustard seed after crackle of seed then add garlic, ginger,curry leaves.
- After that add chopped onion, green chilli saute till light brown then add all chopped veggies,green peas with mushroom(optional) saute for 2-3 min.
- Then add all dried masala powder stir well.
- Then add oats,salt and water cook till oats get soft.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
- Enjoy healthy oats pulao.
