Ingredients of Taco Salad

  1. Make ready 1 lb. of Ground beef.
  2. Make ready 2 cans of Kidney beans, drained and rinsed.
  3. Prepare 1 head of Iceberg lettuce, chopped or torn.
  4. Prepare 4 C. of Shredded mild cheddar cheese (cubed works great too).
  5. Make ready 1 of large Onion, chopped.
  6. Make ready 1 of large Tomato, chopped.
  7. Make ready 1/2 C. of Green onions, chopped.
  8. Prepare 1 can of pitted black olives, cut in half.
  9. It’s 1 bottle of Thousand Island dressing.
  10. Make ready of Sour cream.
  11. Make ready of Salsa.
  12. You need of Cilantro, chopped or torn.
  13. It’s of Taco flavored Doritos chips, crumbled.

First of all, we browned the the beef with onion and used homemade taco seasoning (Taco Seasoning I) from this site.We did add water to simmer the meat.Then we had chopped green onions, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, bagged, shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream to build our taco salad.
