Ingredients of Khade Aloo

  1. Make ready 6 of patotoes.
  2. Take 3 of onion.
  3. Prepare 4 of garlic.
  4. Take of Small piece of ginger.
  5. It’s 1 spoon of Red chilli powder.
  6. Prepare 1 spoon of corrainder powder.
  7. It’s 1/2 spoon of turmeric powder.
  8. You need 1/2 spoon of garam masala.
  9. Take 1/2 spoon of cumin seeds.
  10. Make ready 1/2 spoon of mustard seeds.
  11. Make ready 1 of bay leaf.
  12. Make ready 5 spoons of oil.
  13. Take of Salt as per taste.

Khade Aloo step by step

  1. First take big bowl with water then Peel all patotoes & divide in 2 parts with knife in a bowl..
  2. Grate ginger garlic & keep aside..
  3. Add patotoes pieces in a pan mix well..
  4. Grate all onions & keep aside..
  5. Heat the pan add oil in it when oil is heated add cumin & mustard seeds in it..
  6. Add bay leaf & grated ginger garlic paste & saute for a minute..
  7. Add grated onion & saute till golden brown..
  8. Now add all spices like red chilli powder, turmeric powder, corrainder powder & saute for a minute..
  9. Don't chopped patotoes only give mark in patotoes anywhere 2 or 3 times through knife..
  10. Now cover the lid for few minutes & let them cook in low flame..
  11. Cook till patotoes become soft..
  12. Add salt & garam masala in it..
  13. Cooked well in low flame..
  14. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves..
  15. Serve hot with Chapati or Paratha..
