Ingredients of Sweet Sattu

  1. It’s 1 kg of whole wheat.
  2. Prepare 100 gms of chana Daal.
  3. Prepare 4 tbsp of roasted jeera powder.
  4. It’s 2 tbsp of dry ginger powder.

  6. Make ready 1/2 cup of sattu flour.
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp of sugar as per taste.
  8. You need 1 pinch of salt.
  9. Take 1/4 tsp of Cardamom powder.

  1. Wash wheat 2-3 times with water and let all dirt get cleaned. Take out the wheat in a clean cloth and drain all water. Tie a bag of wheat and keep covered for 2 to 3 hours..
  2. After that, the wheat will be dried but moist. Now take a big kadhai and keep on medium flame. Now dry roast the wheat very nicely, so that all moisture should go and wheat becomes crispy. Dry roast chana daal after cleaning with a wet cloth. (Do not wash chana daal).
  3. Once the wheat and chana daal is roasted add all other ingredients and grind it to smooth flour or can be done in flour milk. Sattu is ready. You can store it in an airtight container for 2-3 months..
  4. For making sweet sattu take a bowl add all ingredients and mix with water without forming lumps. It is ready to eat. We can add chilled milk for making it more delicious and healthy..
