Ingredients of Aloo puri

  1. Prepare 1 cup of wheat flour.
  2. Prepare To taste of salt.
  3. It’s As needed of water.
  4. It’s As needed of oil.

  1. For the puri - firstly combin the wheat flour,salt and 2 tsp of oil and mix well..
  2. Knead into a doughy using enough water. Cover the dough with cloth and let it rest for 30 min..
  3. Heat oil in a pan for frying. Now put one rolled out poori into the hot oil..
  4. Fry them till they turn golden brown in colour from both the side.
  5. For the aloo sabji- heat 3 tsp oil in a pan and cloves,cumin seeds,chopped garlic,chopped ginger and chopped green chillies..
  6. Let them saute for 2 min and add chopped onion and let them saute for 5 min..
  7. Now add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt let them saute for 2 min..
  8. Now add chopped tomatoes and still well. Cook for 2 min..
  9. Add crumbled potatoes and stir well and add 3/4 cup of water and cook covered for 10 min on medium low heat. And add gram massala, kasuri methi stir well and cook for 5 more min..
  10. Aloo pori is ready serve it..
