I usually make this sweet vermicelli to go as a after meal dessert since it is light.Meethi seviyan is made with thin whole wheat vermicelli, sugar, ghee and nuts.Served as a breakfast dish and also for dessert, this Indian-influenced sweet pasta is fried and topped with a saffron omelette, making it crunchy, sweet, tender.Sweet Vermicelli - Quick vermicelli with cream and nuts is very simple sweet dish.
Sweet vermicelli step by step
- Take a pan.. Put vermicelli and roast it on medium flame till it becomes golden brown.
- Take it out in a plate….
- Now put ghee into a pan… Add cumin seeds when ghee becomes hot…
- Add water and bring it to boil on high flame.
- Now slow the flame and add vermicelli and sugar….
- Cover the pan with lid… Cook it on a low flame….
- Stir it time to time… Cook it until it becomes soft….
- Now garnish it with dry fruits of your choice and serve it hot..
