Ingredients of Sweet Shankarpali

  1. Make ready 4 of cups/500 gram - Maida/All purpose flour.
  2. Take 1 cup of - milk.
  3. Take 1 cup of - powdered sugar.
  4. Make ready 1 cup of - clarified butter/ghee.
  5. It’s to taste of salt.
  6. Take of oil for frying.

  1. Mix the milk & sugar together and heat it until the sugar melts.
  2. Add salt to the flour and add the hot ghee and knead it.
  3. Add mixture of milk & sugar and knead a soft dough and then rest for about half an hour.
  4. After resting Start mixing shankarpali as shown.
  5. Heat the ghee at medium temperature and deep fry the shankarpali at low flame until reddish in colour (stir continuously).
  6. The Sweet Shankarpali is ready.
