Ingredients of Sweet boondi
- Take 1/2 kg of besan/gram flour.
- Take To taste of Sugar.
- Take 1/2 cup of Dry fruits.
- You need as needed of Ghee for deep frying.
- You need as needed of water.

Sweet boondi instructions
- Sieve the besan..
- Adding water to it make the batter as shown in the image. You can add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder for colour..
- Heat ghee in the wok..
- Now, using tikti (an instrument used for making boondi), pour the batter on the top..
- After this, tap the tikti quickly on the wok but carefully..
- Now fry them from all sides and do not overcook them..
- Strain all the ghee and remove the boondi in another vessel..
- Now, make syrup using sugar and water in the proportion of half kg : 150 gm sugar. Heat it before the strings are formed..
- Dip all the boondi in this syrup, mix well. Add dry fruits and store in an air tight container. Cover it with lid for 20 minutes..
It is a traditional Indian mithai which is usually made during festivals like Raksha Bandhan, Dusshera and Diwali.This recipe make soft sweet boondi, this is the type I like.Then add the boondi and stir.
