  17. Prepare 1 tbsp of refined oil.
  18. You need 200 ml of oil for frying sweetcorns.

Now take a small bowl and add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and some water.Add the oil, salt, corn, and chilies and stir-fry for one minute.Add the pepper, sugar, and chicken stock, and continue to cook for three minutes.This was a recipe I made up and tweaked due to opening a tin of sweetcorn by mistake when I actually wanted peas.

  1. Take boiled sweetcorn in a bowl,add corn flour,maida,salt and red chilli powder..
  2. Mix all..
  3. Heat oil in a pan,fry sweet corns till golden.Here,cover the pan partially with a lid,as sweetcorns pop up some times..
  4. Fry all sweetcorns and take out.Keep aside..
  5. Heat another pan,add 1tbsp oil.Add chopped garlic and chopped onion.Saute for 1 minute..
  6. Add green chilli and capsicum,saute on high flame for 1 minute..
  7. Add sauces and salt.Add pepper powder also.Mix..
  8. Add fried sweetcorns,mix well.Add vinegar and mix well..
  9. Hot and sweet sweetcorns are ready to serve..
