- Take 1 cup of All Purpose Flour/ Maida.
- It’s 2 tbsp of Fine Semolina/ Sooji.
- You need 3/4 tsp of Salt.
- Take 1/2 tsp of Carom Seeds/ Ajwain.
- Take 2 tbsp of Ghee.
- Make ready As required of Oil.
When you will hold it in between your palms, it will form into a ball.Make small balls of the dough and roll them into medium sized chapatis.Cut the chapatis into small diamond shapes and keep them aside.Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame.

- Mix maida, sooji, salt, ajwain and ghee in a bowl.Add a few tbsp of water at a time and mix to make a tight dough. Cover the dough and keep aside for 10-15 minutes..
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan..
- Divide the dough in 2 parts and roll each in a thin circle.Cut the circle in long rectangles or diamonds..
- Fry the namakpare on low heat till golden brown..
