Maava Penda instructions
- Take a heavy pan and add milk to it and heat it on a medium flame. You have to be patient and keep stirring the milk continuously..
- After 1 hour you will notice tht the color of milk is changing and it has thickened. Keep stirring from bottom. One more hour and it’s more thickened. Now add milk powder slowly & gradually. Mix this and keep stirring. One more hour and now you can see tht milk is solid. Keep stirring until maava stops sticking to the pan. Now add sugar and keep stirring until maava stops sticking..
- Put off the flame & let the maava cool down. Now make two portions. Add your preferred colors to these portions. I have taken red for one & green for another. Take some ghee in your palms and start making balls. Now place green ball first in the mould topped with red. And vice a versa for opposite appearance. Unmilitary it and pendas are ready to go.
