- For this quick method I choose to combine the broccoli, uncooked carrots and fettuccine noodles all together in the pot of boiling water. (I would normally steam fresh Vegtables in a separate pan and add them at the end which takes about 10 min. longer but holds in the nutrients and tastes better) Today however I just grabbed whatever was left in the house..
