  1. Take 1 jar of apricot preserve (18 ounce).
  2. Prepare 1 cup of salsa (any flavor you like).
  3. You need 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
  4. Prepare 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce.
  5. Take 2 teaspoons of ground ginger.
  6. Take 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper(you can add less if you don’t want it tttoooo spicy πŸ₯΅!!).

This dipping sauce is simple and amazing!It utilizes a spicy sweet chili sauce mixed with a nice preserve.To be honest, you can switch up the preserve, but we have found that apricot preserves work the best.This simple and delicious sauce is great on everything from fried shrimp to toast.

Sweet and Spicy Apricot Dipping Sauce step by step

  1. In a small saucepan heat up your apricot preserve, salsa, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, ground ginger and crushed red pepper until mixture boils……stir occasionally…….
  2. Continue to boil mixture for about 10 minutes…….
  3. Remove from heat and let apricot mixture cool down, as it cools it will thicken…….
  4. Serve and enjoy πŸ˜‰! Can be served with regular chicken strips or my coconut chicken strips !!!! πŸ˜‹.

I love apricots and thought this sauce sounded good.This sauce was way too sweet so I added more ginger, soy sauce and hot stuff..It's excellent with crushed chili peppers if you.
