Ingredients of Nattu Kozhi Chukka/Country Chicken Fry

  1. Make ready 1/2 kg of Naatu Kozhi clean and cut into very small pieces.
  2. Prepare 2 tsp of Sesame Oil.
  3. Make ready 10-15 of Shallots roughly chopped.
  4. Prepare as needed of Curry leaves few.
  5. Make ready 1 1/2 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  6. Make ready 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  7. Take 1 tsp of Pepper powder.
  8. It’s -as per your taste of Salt.

  10. Prepare as required of Coriander leaves few.

  12. Prepare 1/2 inch of piece of Cinnamon.
  13. You need 2 of Cloves.
  14. Take 2 tsp of Coriander seeds.
  15. You need 1/2 tsp of Fennel seeds.
  16. Prepare 1 tsp of Cumin seeds.
  17. Prepare 4 of Dry Red Chillies.

  1. Dry roast all the ingredients given for masala powder. Cool it completely and grind to a fine powder..
  2. In a kadai, add oil. Once oil gets heat, add shallots and curry leaves. Saute till shallots becomes translucent..
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 5 mins in medium flame..
  4. Add chicken pieces and mix well for 5 mins..
  5. Add turmeric powder, ground masala powder and salt. Saute for 5 mins..
  6. Add water. Cover and cook till the chicken gets cooked..
  7. Atlast add pepper powder and coriander leaves. Saute for 2 mins. Transfer to a bowl..
  8. Now it's ready to serve as a Sidedish for your lunch..
