Ingredients of Dalgona Usal Pav

  1. You need 100 gm of usal mix pulses (ready available).
  2. It’s 1/4 cup of dry white peas(Safed vatana).
  3. Make ready 2 of big tomatoes (purée).

  5. Prepare 2 tbsp of oil.
  6. Take 3 tbsp of chopped onion.
  7. Prepare 4-5 of black peppercorns.
  8. Take 3-4 of cloves.

  11. It’s 1/2 tsp of tumeric powder.
  12. Take 1 tsp of red chilli powder.

  15. Prepare 2 tbsp of usal masala.
  16. It’s 2 tbsp of grated coconut.
  17. It’s of Garlic cloves as per your taste.
  18. It’s to taste of Salt.

  20. Make ready 4-6 of pav.
  21. Take of Finely chopped onion.
  22. You need of Mixture farshan as required.

Dalgona Usal Pav step by step

  1. Wash,soak usal mix pulses + white peas together for 6-8 hours with 1/2 tsp salt. Pressure cook with a pinch of soda bi carb for 5-6 whistles..
  2. In kadhai add 2 tbsp oil,add chopped onion and saute till brown. Add cloves,cinnamon, peppercorns, bay leaf and saute for 2 minutes..
  3. Off the flame,add tumeric powder, chilli powder, dhania powder,usal masala,ginger and garlic. Grind in mixer jar to smooth paste..
  4. In same kadhai add 2 tbsp oil,add grinded masala paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes..
  5. Add boiled pulses,water and salt. Cook for 10 mins..
  6. Keep all things required to make Dalgona Usal Pav..
  7. For one serving:. Pour 3-4 laddleful of prepared hot usal in glass..
  8. On it put fistful of farshan mixture as shown..
  9. On it spread a layer of finely chopped onion. Squeeze lemon juice on it..
  10. On it placed warm toasted Pav as shown. Serve/ Relish Delicious Dalgona Usal Pav immediately..
